Meet Maleia Tumolo: Your Dedicated Club Leader and Coach

Maleia Tumolo is an Exercise Scientist and Certified USATF & AAU Running Coach, who brings an unwavering passion for endurance sports to every runner she mentors. With over 20 years of experience, she has lead runners of all levels, from those just starting in walk-to-run programs to athletes pursuing a Boston Marathon qualification. In addition she volunteers as a coach for her children's running team, nurturing a love for running in young athletes and leads a a run club the meets on Tuesdays 6pm at Good Hope Brewing. The group is free to participate and is inclusive to everyone.

Maleia has an extensive athletic background. As a former triathlete; she’s multiple USA Triathlon National Championship qualifier and Xterra off-road Triathlon National Championship qualifier, she has also proudly represented TEAM USA in London & Chicago World Triathon Championships and in Monterrey Mexico at the Pan-American Championships. Beyond triathlons, she has taken on numerous mountain bike races, road races, and trails races showcasing her versatility in endurance sports.

Since retiring from triathlons in 2016, Maleia has fully embraced marathon and ultra-running. She has competed in countless road races. Moreover, she has tackled and podiumed in some of the toughest trail races and ultramarathons on the East Coast, proving her relentless determination and skill. Her dedication extends beyond personal achievements, with over a decade spent guiding visually impaired endurance athletes in running, triathlons, and swimming events.

Maleia's coaching and athletic journey is fueled by perseverance, discipline, and a genuine love for helping others reach their full potential.
